After the overnight ferry trip to Belfast on the Sunday night after Oulton i had to stop off in Ballinderry with the Truck so the new Awning could get fitted at Terapin Awnings . Great service was provided by Gary and the boys then it was off home for a few days rest. On Thursday i left dublin and picked Paul up at Belfast Intl airport then a quick call in to collect truck with Terapin and off we went, next stop Cookstown!Arriving mid afternoon we both set about putting the awning up and after an hour the job was done and bikes out!
We didnt have a great Cookstown due to the weather during qualifying and i started off in the B races. Now come race day there was riders who also didnt qualify out in the A races!! and on The 1000cc machines they didnt qualify on either! now who makes the rules up?? Anyway rant over hehe..
After our races were over it was pack up time and straight to the Hotel for our annual meal and a pint and on sunday morning just as the pan was going on my lift to Dublin arrived thanks to the AIR Kawasaki lads. Cheers guys!!
Well its Oulton park BSB next where Ian is riding again in Superstock. I have decided to sit it out and put all my effort into the Northwest 200 where i will be riding in 5 races this year on the 600cc and Superstock 1000cc so keep an eye out for 29 and pop by the awning and say hello.
